CONFLUENCE OF GOOD MINDS

SUMANA SANGAMA

ABOUT US

Sumana Sangama is a song Mother Earth began humming for us in January 1996, when we purchased 17 acres of barren land, 10 kilometers from Dharwad in Karnataka, India. What started as a dry, overgrazed expanse has gradually transformed into a thriving green sanctuary—a forest-farm rich with a growing diversity of flora and fauna. We named this place Suman Sangam, meaning Confluence of Flowers and Good Minds. This name reflects both a reverence for nature’s abundance and our aspiration to foster a space where kindred spirits come together in harmony.

We never had a blueprint for Suman Sangam. It has evolved organically, driven by nature’s own rhythms and our ongoing commitment to learn from her. Every season brings with it a new line in this living poem, a verse added by the Earth herself—sometimes subtle, sometimes spectacular, but always meaningful. What remains constant is our core approach: to be natural, respectful, and holistic in all we do.
