VOLUNTEER @ SUMANA SANGAMA
Sumana Sangama is a forest-farm located just 10 km from Dharwad, where nature has been quietly reclaiming once-barren land since 1996. What began as 17 acres of dry, overgrazed earth has slowly transformed into a thriving green sanctuary—a living, breathing example of regeneration and harmony. As a volunteer, you become a part of this ongoing story.
We invite individuals who resonate with mindful, eco-conscious living to join us in our daily work. Volunteers participate in activities like tree planting, mulching, organic farming, composting, natural building, seed-saving, and forest care. There’s also time for reflection, learning, and simply listening to the rhythms of nature.
Sumana Sangama is not a project with a fixed blueprint, but a space that evolves with the seasons, surprises, and the diverse energies people bring. Here, we live simply and tread lightly, guided by nature and rooted in holistic principles.
Whether you come for a short stay or a longer commitment, your presence contributes meaningfully to our vision of creating a self-sustaining, biodiverse sanctuary. Volunteering here is not just about helping—it’s about reconnecting with the Earth, with yourself, and with a community of like-minded people on a shared journey.
Come, be part of the confluence…!!
